Ms. Laurane Schenevey

Assistant to the Head of School & Travel Coordinator
Gestionnaire en Tourisme ES Ecole Internationale de Tourisme

Born and raised in the beautiful town of Neuchâtel, Ms. Laurane Schenevey has always dreamed of working in tourism, and is passionate about making people’s travel dreams come true. She obtained her Diplôme de Gestionnaire en tourisme ES (Diploma in Tourism Management) from the École Internationale de Tourisme in Lausanne. Prior to joining the administrative team at Neuchâtel Junior College, Ms. Schenevey worked as a Sales Manager at a local travel agency in Neuchâtel, specializing in cruises. She also has experience working in administration at Lycée Jean-Piaget, NJC’s local sister school in Neuchâtel.

For as long as she can remember, Ms. Schenevey has been keen on North America and its culture – she has always sought to learn more about that part of the world and is looking forward to working closely and travelling with Canadian staff and students, as NJC’s on-site Travel Coordinator and Project Manager.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading and enjoying scenery and nature on walks.
Neuchâtel Junior College offers the unique opportunity to study Canadian curriculum abroad. While living in Switzerland in a French community, students enjoy an international education through travel and experiential learning in Europe. Gap year and Grade 12  high school students gain international experience and develop independence and life skills that prepare them for university and the global workplace.
